Housemates Secure Their First Wager Win Under Sweet Guluva’s Leadership

Despite appearing somewhat unprepared throughout the week, the housemates managed to secure their first wager win under the guidance of Head of House, Sweet Guluva. Their journey to success wasn’t without challenges, as Biggie punished them for breaking the rulebook by assigning them the tedious task of sewing 200 buttons onto fabric. However, in the final hours, they came together with renewed focus and delivered a remarkable presentation.

The evening began with Muzi-Thembuzi, who set the tone by showcasing his deejaying, dancing, and rapping talents. Jojo followed with a heartfelt performance, combining her powerful vocals with a personal story about her family’s struggles after her father lost his job, drastically altering their once-comfortable life.

Gugu moved the audience by sharing how she went from owning a three-story house to returning to her family’s home in Soweto. Despite her challenges, she found solace in the knowledge that she had built her family a home when times were good.

Abobo opened up about the pain of losing his mother at a young age, leaving him without support through his life achievements.

Beekay reflected on his battle with peer pressure, while Philile inspired everyone with her story of surviving heart surgery and pursuing her dreams of becoming a model. Uyanda also stepped into the spotlight to share his journey of overcoming hardship, which culminated in his graduation—a testament to his perseverance.

The night wasn’t just about storytelling. The housemates put on various artistic and dance performances, with outstanding contributions from Ash-ley Ogle, Ezra, Luzuko, Mandy Hagan, Mata, Melino, Mshini, Nate, Nsuku, Sweet Guluva, and Swiss.

Their dedication and impressive execution earned them their first wager win with a score of 100 percent. However, due to repeated rule violations, Biggie deducted a significant 50 percent, reminding them of the importance of discipline in the house.
