The Big Brother Mzansi Season 5 housemate count has been trimmed down from an original 24 to 20 following Sunday night’s eviction.
Gugu now joins former housemates Savage, Bonni Bee, and the disqualified Kay B, who exited earlier in the season. Her eviction came after being nominated alongside Nsuku, Uyanda, Abobo, Kay B, Philile, Siphesihle, and Mata—the latter replacing Swiss due to Ezra’s Head of House choice. Gugu’s three-week journey in the house concluded with her elimination.
Unsurprised by the outcome, Gugu revealed she anticipated her exit through a dream vision in which host Smash Afrika urged her departure—a premonition she’d shared with fellow housemates. She criticized most male contestants as hypocritical, accusing them of masking sinister intentions behind claims of brotherhood, though she exempted Abobo and Beekay from this critique. Her closest bonds, Philile and Siphesihle, reportedly wept upon her eviction announcement.
Now outside the house, Gugu confidently declared to Smash Afrika that her “prophetic training” has equipped her to assist others tirelessly, vowing to dedicate herself fully to helping people moving forward.
