The Big Brother Mzansi ‘Uphethen?’ Season 7 auditions are open to all South African residents aged 21 and above as of 1 January 2027.

Who’s eligible for the Big Brother Mzansi season 7 auditions?

All South African citizens with a valid permanent resident of South Africa as of 1 October 2025 together with a valid identity document are eligible to audition.

What’s should the applicant do before applying?

Applicants are required to create an audition video before starting the application, complete the online application form and submit the video for assessment.

What’s required in the in the application form?

The application requires an applicant’s full names, email address, mobile number, physical address, brief bio, eligibility information, hobbies, date of birth, city of residence, father’s origin, mother’s origin, relationship status, occupation, education and COVID-19 vaccination status.

How long should the audition video be and what must it include?

Your casting video must be no longer than 2 minutes. The video should help the Producers get to know the real you, including your personality, life experiences, background and why you would make an interesting housemate.Avoid filters, special video effects, copyrighted music and background music. The focus should be on you and what you have to say.

When should you know that you have been selected or not?

All selected applicants will receive an email no later than 22 December 2026. If you have not received an email by that date, you have not been selected for the next phase.
