Jojo Dethrones Swiss to Become Season 5’s First Female Head of House
Big Brother Mzansi Season 5 continues to ignite Umlilo with electrifying twists that keep viewers hooked. Earlier today, the housemates tested their chances in the Head of House (HoH) challenge, where Swiss emerged victorious against 19 competitors to claim the provisional title. However, as per this season’s format, the newly crowned HoH must defend their position in a follow-up “Head of House Challenger” round.
Swiss, the reigning HoH, handpicked four housemates—Jojo, Mandy Hagan, Abobo, and Mata—to face off against him in a battle for his crown. The first round saw Abobo, Mandy Hagan, and Mata eliminated, leaving Jojo as the sole challenger to advance to the final showdown.
In a thrilling final round, Jojo clashed head-to-head with Swiss, ultimately outlasting him to seize the HoH title. With this victory, she not only dethroned Swiss but also made history as the first female Head of House this season.
