The Week 5 live eviction show of Big Brother Mzansi Season 5 brought significant changes to the house.
Big Brother Mzansi week 5 live eviction show kicked off with high energy as host Smack Afrika introduced Ash-ley Ogle on stage to spill some tea. As the latest evicted housemate—a decision made by HoH Swiss, who had to choose between Nsuku and Ash-ley Ogle—she had plenty to share.
Smack didn’t hold back, diving straight into the tough questions about why she thought she had been evicted. Ash-ley Ogle believed her housemates were intimidated by her and saw her as a threat. She also made it clear that she is her own person.
When asked whether her romance with fellow housemate Sweet Guluva inside the house was real, Ash-ley didn’t hesitate to say, “Definitely yes,” adding that it was love at first sight.
Similarly, when Smack asked Sweet Guluva if he would continue to pursue Ash-ley Ogle outside the Big Brother Mzansi Season 5 house, he responded with a resounding “DEFINITELY,” causing the audience to erupt in cheers.

Smash Afrika turned up the heat with tough questions that had South Africa buzzing.
Philile was put on the spot about a certain Mr. S in the house whom she had considered kissing. But hold up—she quickly defended herself, saying it was just a thought and revealing that Mr. S was none other than the current HoH, Swiss!
Another bombshell dropped when Jojo openly admitted that she was all in for Sweet Guluva. When Smash asked Sweet Guluva if he knew there were ladies interested in him, he said, “No.” That’s when Smash pointed to Jojo and Mshini, revealing that both had their eyes on him. Without hesitation, Jojo shouted a big “Yes!”
Things took an even wilder turn when Smash asked Nsuku whom she would evict if given the chance. Without missing a beat, Nsuku confidently named Mandy Hagan. The tension in the house was undeniable, but Mandy Hagan kept her cool, laughing it off.
With 16 housemates left, the game is heating up each week. Who’s got what it takes to make it to the finish line? The whole of Mzansi is on edge.
A new spice will be added to the curry mix this week. Biggie is introducing The Boiler Room, a high-stakes space where housemates get a shot at dipping into the grand prize money. But trust us, there’s a catch.
Starting Monday, mystery envelopes will be popping up in the house. If a housemate finds one, they’ll unlock access to The Boiler Room, with the action kicking off on Wednesay at noon.
