What you Missed in the first diary session – BBMzansi

Housemates have their fist diary session

Season 5 housemates had their first diary session, a one to one with Biggie!

The first diary sessions of the season were a rollercoaster of emotions, surprises, and laughter as the housemates opened up about their experiences and shared their perspectives.

Check some highlights Below:

Mandy Hagan expressed a mix of confidence and excitement about being in the house. Reflecting on her nominations, she admitted feeling guilty about nominating Philile, whom she later found sweet, while finding Nsuku a bit rude. Mandy also shared her surprise and disappointment at being nominated, though she acknowledged, “it’s all part of the game.”

Sweet Guluva, the current Head of House, was grateful for his position and the perks it brought. However, he found balancing personalities to be exhausting, admitting, “pleasing everyone is no easy task.” He saved Gugu for her lively energy and chose to nominate Jojo, who he felt was withdrawn.

Kay B described her experience as both exciting and overwhelming. She humorously thanked Biggie for introducing “a strong, handsome guy” and commented on her budding “talking stage” with Savage, though she wasn’t entirely receptive to his interest. Her nomination of Nsuku stemmed from their unresolved tension, while she appreciated Sipha Lee for his upbeat vibe.

Sipha Lee shared his gratitude for being part of the house but reflected on being chosen more for his looks than his story. He expressed frustration over feeling sabotaged during the Head of House challenge but praised Bonni Bee for her leadership. His nominations included Kay B, for her perceived bullying of Nsuku, and Mandy Hagan, whom he felt wasn’t contributing much.

Bonni Bee embraced her leadership role as the season’s first Head of House, stepping in where she felt Sweet Guluva fell short. She nominated Gugu, whom she found “a bit stuck up,” and Ash-Ley Ogle for making unnecessary comments.

Ash-Ley Ogle took a playful approach, likening her time in the house to a vacation. She revealed her intention to play mischievous pranks, like freezing poop and hiding items for fun.

Savage admitted he was enjoying himself despite battling a stomach ache. He praised Sweet Guluva’s leadership and nominated Ash-Ley Ogle, explaining he didn’t feel a connection with her. He also playfully teased that he plans to remain a “red flag” in the house.

Gugu entered the diary room in tears, overwhelmed by the emotional demands of the wager task. She shared frustrations with Mata, whom she believed sabotaged her during the Head of House challenge. Her nominations included Jojo, for lacking strong opinions, and Mata.

Abobo was thrilled to be in the house but found the voting process challenging. He appreciated housemates with inspiring stories, leading him to nominate Dube and Melino. He criticized Bonni Bee for not bringing Dube into the house, despite the group’s earlier decision.

Melino brought humor to his session, jokingly asking for a more comfortable chair. He shared feeling supported by some housemates, like Mandy Hagan, while sensing a disconnect with Muzi-TheMbuzi and Tyrone. His nominations went to Savage and Kay B, citing discomfort with Kay B’s remarks.

The first diary sessions gave viewers a glimpse into the housemates’ personalities, strategies, and budding alliances. With emotions running high and dynamics shifting, the stage is set for an exciting season. Stay tuned as the drama continues to unfold in the Big Brother Mzansi house!
