iLano Raises Concerns Over Chore Imbalance in the Bazozwa House
Tension over household duties is growing in the Big Brother Mzansi Bazozwa house, and iLano has become the latest housemate to voice her frustrations.
Speaking to Buhle B, iLano expressed that the female housemates are feeling drained by constantly cleaning up after the men. She questioned why responsibilities such as washing dishes continue to fall mainly on the women, especially when they are already the ones handling most of the cooking.
iLano asked Buhle B to pass the message to Tumi the Barber, emphasizing that the men also need to step up and contribute more to the cleaning. According to her, it is unfair for the women to cook and still be expected to wash the dishes afterward. She pointed out that she and Didi have been sharing dishwashing duties, yet the workload remains unbalanced.
Relationship Tensions Also Surface
While frustrations over chores simmered, personal conflicts among housemates also took center stage.
Bravo B admitted that he is currently not on good terms with one of the female housemates, revealing that it is Trixie. He explained that their fallout began after he failed to console her following her argument with Thandeka, which he believes led Trixie to distance herself from him.
Not long after, Trixie opened up to Neliswa in a private conversation, stating that she no longer cares about Bravo B. Neliswa agreed, saying the respect in their relationship is no longer mutual. Trixie explained that she once tried to confide in him but felt dismissed, adding that she has since moved on from the situationship.
She further said she is proud to have walked away with her dignity intact and made it clear that nothing inappropriate ever happened between them.
Thandeka Weighs In
Earlier in the day, Thandeka also shared her perspective with Ramona, accusing Trixie of being controlling. She claimed that during a recent punishment, Trixie instructed Tumi the Barber to reprimand her for smiling, which she found unnecessary.
Ramona responded that she still intends to have a conversation with Trixie to better understand her side of the story. The two agreed that the ongoing friction among the female housemates is being fuelled by misunderstandings and poor communication.
